Respect Claire Gempp Davidson Memorial Conservation Area, writer says

Posted

To the editor:

Recently I visited the Claire Gempp Davidson Memorial Conservation Area off Sappington at noon on a weekday. There is only one trailhead off the parking lot with a huge signboard. NO PETS is clearly posted in two places. Yet in the space of one hour, I saw four large dogs being walked, including one off-leash. Lindbergh students and staff, as well as many volunteers, worked hard to establish this park. It is wonderfully maintained. The NO PETS signs are there for a reason; please show some respect and don’t bring dogs to this park. There is a dog park not far away for the furry friends.
