GIANT’s app and website were back up-and-running on Tuesday more than a week after a cyberattack disrupted the popular grocery store’s network.
Shoppers were unable to order pickup or delivery through the app or access their coupons and points as the app and website were unavailable. However, customers could still access their rewards by speaking with store employees and could still make online orders through third-party apps.
A GIANT spokesperson told NBC10 that customers can get 10% off at checkout (max $10) in a store by telling a cashier about the offer. The offer lasts through Thursday, Oct. 22.
The chain also said that this week’s ad was automatically added to customer’s store cards and will be available through Thursday, Oct. 22.
GIANT CHOICE points that were set to expire this month were also extended to Nov. 30.
