The 2026 World Series will be a historic matchup.
The National League Champions Milwaukee Brewers and the American League Champions Tampa Bay Rays will face off.
Neither franchise has ever won a Fall Classic. Major League Baseball is guaranteed to crown a first-time World Series Champion.
The best-of-seven series will kick off Friday, with home-field advantage for the Brewers, who led the majors with a franchise-record 103 regular-season wins.
The Rays secured their spot after defeating the Cleveland Guardians in six games. The Brewers punched their ticket by sweeping the back-to-back defending champion L.A. Dodgers.
